Teen Advisory Boards

What is a Teen Advisory Board?

A Teen Advisory Board is a service provided by the library that gets Teens involved in what's happening at their local branches. Middle and high school students are invited to participate and share ideas for future programs and activities. Complete your school’s requirement for volunteer credit hours!

A Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meets at the following locations:

Note: Teens aged 12-15 may participate only as TAB volunteers during the school year for Teen Advisory Board. Teens 16-18 are invited to volunteer for TAB OR apply for general volunteering year-round (subject to each location’s availability).

Main Library TAB
Schedule: Meets every fourth Tuesday @ 4:00 p.m. and select Saturdays @ 2:00 p.m.

Fill out the required online application and three forms (recommendation, parent permission, and background check) and submit them to the TAB contact at your local branch before attending a TAB meeting.
