Man Booker Prize

Sponsored by Booker McConnell Ltd., and administered by the National Book League in the United Kingdom. The name of the award changed in 2002 from the Booker Prize, or officially the Booker McConnell Prize, to the Man Booker Prize. The award is given to the best novel written in English by a citizen of the UK, the Commonwealth, Eire, Pakistan, or South Africa, and has been awarded since 1969.
