The Library Guild

The Library Guild is the membership and special event arm of the JPL Foundation formed in 1996 to develop events such as Much Ado About Books. At this time The Guild and Foundation have raised over $800,000 used to purchase new computers, childrens books and resource materials for the public library.

Much Ado About Books is Jacksonville's premier book festival. Area residents mingled with local, state and national authors in unique seminars and book signings. MAAB 2005 will be held April 2nd at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
