START THE JOURNEY
Read the book in March so you'll be ready for all the exciting literary adventures beginning in April.
ABOUT THE BOOK
The Call of the Wild reaches into the very basic and instinctual parts of the human soul, calling on our own adventurous intuitions. The characters in this book will tug at your heart and draw you into the story. The Call of the Wild, written by Jack London, explores the lives and experiences of animals so humans may understand that all creatures experience both victory and defeat.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jack London's story of Buck, the St. Bernard/Scotch Shepherd dog, is not much different than his own life's story. London struggled through most of his adolescence and adulthood trying to makes ends meet and discover unclaimed riches. Though he never found gold during his time in Alaska and Canada, he did discover his wealth of experiences were worth their weight in gold through his captivating novels and interesting stories.
