Postoffice, San Augustine, Florida. This building was formerly the mansion of the Spanish governors. For many years it was unused and fell into a state of ruin.

It was rebuilt by the U.S. Government for use as a postoffice and has been so employed ever since.

Compared with old pictures, the architecture and general appearance of the structure has been well-preserved.
