African American Digital Collections

African Americans in the Jacksonville community have a rich history of blazing trails in cultural, educational, political and religious arenas. The African American Digital Collection includes unique resources such as photographs, personal papers, and other primary source materials of notable individuals, places, events and organizations in the community. These resources have been digitized to increase accessibility and to preserve and extend the lifespan of these fragile materials.
