- Dr. Brenda Robinson Simmons, Hurston scholar and Florida Community College North Campus's Executive Dean, will give a presentation on Zora Neale Hurston's life, times, and work and facilitate a book discussion about Their Eyes Were Watching God. FCCJ's Gospel Concert Chorale will perform from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. immediately before Dr. Simmons' presentation. Open to the public.
